Last week team 2Shakes created and presented a paper mock-up of our solution to a bookkeeper. It showed them how our digital sign up form might work, and was great for getting some initial feedback. We will be asking for more feedback from bookkeepers this week to find out what is most valuable for them, and hence where to start making it better for bookkeepers.
We asked bookkeepers if they had issues getting set up to represent their clients. Below are some of the sorts of things we heard….
Over the last week team 2shakes has been talking to bookkeepers around NZ to understand how they interact with government. It’s been a busy week, and very rewarding – all together we spoke with 24 bookkeepers.
Bookkeepers are wonderful!
…it’s better for everyone!
We’ve just completed week 4 on the R9 Accelerator. Team 2Shakes is pivoting. We are going to make it better for bookkeepers!
Bookkeepers help hundreds of thousands of small businesses in New Zealand. They look after businesses day to day financial and compliance needs. Letting businesses focus on doing what they do best.
Connecting with organisations…..
R9 Accelerator Week 2 for 2shakes has been a focus on government agencies, with excellent engagement from:
- Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI),
- Ministry for the Environment (MfE),
- Department of Conservation (DoC),
- Local Government NZ (LGNZ).
- Also a big thanks to the Business.govt.nz team at MBIE.
We are continuing to talk to the farmers from Federated Farmers, and Horticulture NZ are doing fantastic things for growers.
It has been an intense and enjoyable first week for 2Shakes on the R9 Accelerator as we narrow our focus and gain some momentum.
