It’s week 8 on the R9 Accelerator.  This week we were focused on finding Bookkeepers that were interested in being early adopters.  Guess what proportion wanted to be an early adopter…..?

80% of Bookkeepers want to be Early Adopters

Last week we started ringing back bookkeepers who we spoke with in the past few weeks.  We have had amazingly positive support from all the bookkeepers we have contacted.  So far a huge 80% of the bookkeepers we have called have agreed to be early adopters!

Early adopters are so important.  They show that there is actually a desire and a commitment to make improvements.  They provide an indication of the interest and demand for a solution. Having an 80% signup rate shows fantastic support and validation for our ideas, and represents significant “traction”.

Thank you to everyone who has agreed to work with us to create the perfect digital sign up & authority form for bookkeepers. We really couldn’t do this without you.  We are excited and keen to start building something smart, slick and valuable.

Engaging with Organisations

We had a busy meet and greet on Wednesday, with interested parties from government and private sectors. We had people from Inland Revenue, Ministry Business Innovation and Employment, Statistics NZ, Department of Internal Affairs, Treasury, Rabid Tech, Data Futures, Seradigm, Boost, Business NZ.

They all came to hear the teams pitch – it was standing room only!

The 2Shakes team has also had great support and engagement this week from Westpac, NZ Post and MBIE.

There is A LOT of interest in how our solution can save time for bookkeepers, their clients, and all the organisations they deal with – public and private.
