2Shakes lets you customise both the signing email sent to clients to sign your agreement or the congratulations email sent to your clients after they sign. You can specify the wording, use system variables like your client’s name, and also include attachments like questionnaires and fact finders.

Set default Email text in your profile

Go to Profile > Branding
Scroll down to see the Remote Signing Email section:

Or, the Agreement Email section:

You can fully edit these emails that go to your clients when they sign up. You can add a system variable using  Insert Placeholder . These show in yellow to make it easy to see them. You can add Attachments to include with your emails as well. For example a fact sheet or brochure.

The Attachment Name will default to the filename – edit it to something more human-friendly if needed.

Customise emails for each client

You can also customise the default email text to suit each client. On an agreement, before you Proceed to Signing,  you are able to view and edit emails and decide what attachments you will send.

Click either the Signing Email or the Agreement Email button to bring up the email popup.  Here you can edit the email for this specific client:

  • Review/edit the email
  • Deselect standard attachments if needed
  • Add attachments just for this client
The edited email with any amended attachments will then be sent to the client currently being signed up.
